This is a fabulous whole wheat pizza crust! Your kids won't even realize it's healthy! This pizza only lasts a few minutes in our house before it's gobbled up! Read the full blog post here: http://projectrealmom.com/whole-wheat-pizza-crust/

  • 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 1/3 cup Water (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Step 1
In a large bowl mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast until well combined.
Step 2
Add water and olive oil. Mix until sticky and a soft dough forms. This will not look like your typical bread dough. It will be much wetter and is supposed to be this way.
Step 3
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Step 4
When ready to use, remove from fridge and let rest for one hour. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. This pizza is best when cooked on a baking stone but you can use a regular pizza pan if that's all you have.
Step 5
Remove dough from bowl and cut in half. Use parchment paper and roll out each piece to your desired thickness (keep the rolled dough on the paper). It will rise a little in the oven.
Step 6
Top each pizza with your choice of sauce and toppings.
Step 7
Transfer one pizza to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown. Remove first pizza from oven and repeat baking instructions for second pizza. Enjoy!
