Lemon Orange Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 bag fresh cranberries (12 ounces)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup real maple syrup (don't even think about using pancake syrup! you can sub 1/2 cup sugar here too.)
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Directions
Step 1 | |
Wash cranberries. | |
Step 2 | |
Add to medium sauce pan. | |
Step 3 | |
Pour in orange juice and maple syrup. | |
Step 4 | |
Add lemon zest. | |
Step 5 | |
Heat on medium heat until it boils. | |
Step 6 | |
Slightly reduce heat and cook 10 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir occasionally. | |
Step 7 | |
Allow to cool and serve. |
