A fabulously tasty treat on a cool fall day!

  • 1 Gallon Pressed Apple Cider
  • 3 tablespoons Salted Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Orange (Sliced)
  • 1/2 Lemon (Sliced)
  • 15 Whole Cloves
  • 25 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 20 Whole Allspice Berries
  • 4 Whole Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1/3 cup Caramel Ice Cream Topping

  • 1-1/2 cup Applejack Apple Brandy

Step 1
Combine all ingredients except brandy and caramel in a crockpot. Cook on low 5-6 hours.
Step 2
Slowly stir in caramel sauce so that it dissolves into the cider. You don't want it all clumped at the bottom.
Step 3
Strain cider through a fine strainer to remove fruit and spices. If you prefer the "unspiked" version, stop here and enjoy!
Step 4
To spike, add the brandy and serve! You can keep this in the crockpot on the warm setting but be careful not to let it boil! If it boils, the brandy will burn off.
